president of Rwanda, and El Salvador President: Nayib Bukele, Rt. Hon. Anthony Albanes, Prime Minister of New Zealand, Rt. Hon. Christopher Luxon, the prime minister of Australia, and some top Nigerian politicians such as Sen. Godswill Akpabio, the Nigerian Senate President, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, speaker of the Nigerian House of Representatives, Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Nigerian economist Tony Elumelu with the GAMA 2024 Awards.
Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International founder (COFI), Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, DD, DSC, Hon Festus Keyamo, FCIArb, SAN and apostle Dr. Ken Nwakanma also won the GAMA Awards in 2024.
This year, the award expanded with the addition of the Presidential and Parliamentary/ Governor’s Humanitarian Service Awards.
The Quest NGO Global Advancement Merit Award (GAMA) was born out of the
need to honour people performing humanitarian service worldwide; it also cuts across all walks of life, giving awards to all those who have done meritorious service to advance humanity.
However, The Quest for the Helpless Initiative is an NGO, which is passionate about serving humanity’s interests. Thus, it has taken the quest to help the underprivileged seriously and appreciates other NGOs and individuals who are doing the same.
As a result, the award also recognises personalities who have distinguished themselves in the humanitarian field of service.
This year’s award included dignitaries worldwide who have touched lives in humanitarian service. The awardees are as follows:
The Presidential Humanitarian Service Award recipients are Prime Minister of Japan (Asian continent), Rt. Hon. Fumio Kishida, Rwanda President (African continent) Paul Kagame, the Prime Minister of Australia (Australian continent), Rt. Hon. Anthony Albanes, Prime Minister of New Zealand (Antarctica continent), Rt. Hon. Christopher Luxon, President of France (European continent), and President Emmanuel Macron, US President (North American continent), President Joe Biden, and South America, Salvador President: Nayib Bukele.

The Quest for the Helpless Initiative and Global Advancement Award organisers said the winners were deserving after thorough scrutiny and voting. They noted that They have, one way or another, contributed to humanitarian service worldwide.
The Secretary of the NGO, Mr. Udeme Emmanuel, said that all the recipients met the NGO’s standard requirement and were awarded accordingly.
He also expressed hope that in 2025, more efforts will be put in, and noticeable lapses in this particular award will be corrected. He congratulated all the winners and said the NGO considers It was a great joy to give the winners the awards.
The award gala night is yet to be announced by the trustees. The The secretary said the quest for the Helpless Initiative NGO will communicate the date to all winners to be present to receive their awards.
